People are beautiful if you let them be.

People are way better than we think.

Prologue

Have you ever noticed anyone working hard but not complaining? I don’t know about your opinion but if you ask me. Yes, I did. My father. And I am pretty sure, one would agree herewith me. Be it your close ones or someone you barely know, one thing is assured people are way better than we think. The sole purpose of this article is to establish my point of the aforesaid statement. If anyone wishes to contradict the fact, I am glad to know your opinion.

Before that…

What made me write this article?

Some days earlier, I was checking my phone. As usual, I was going through the WhatsApp stories. I noticed something that I have never connected this deeply ever. One of my seniors had put a silhouette picture with a caption that said,

“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at sunsets, I don’t find myself saying, soften the orange a bit on the right-hand corner. I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch this awe as it unfolds.”

First of all, it would be an injustice if I forget to praise the caption she wrote. From my perspective, she imagined the purest form of perception. I believe dedicating this article to her is my way of appreciating her aura.

So, honestly, that caption shook me. I collapsed at once. This made me think and re-think my thoughts about people. I learned a lesson that day, which I want to share with all the adorable readers through the medium of this piece.

My Learnings

Why judge anyone?

I believe It is a very personal choice. It is your call if you want to judge others. Neither there is anything harmful in it. In fact, some people enjoy judging others. But I have a question for them, “whose loss is this?”

If a sunset watcher finds mistakes in it. Maybe if s(he) doesn’t find it apt in color scheme or maybe it’s the orientation that is ruined. Maybe the mood lighting is all set then the Spotify ad came up. (Haha! Pardon me for the lame pun. But you get the point.) Finding flaws won’t help in viewing the bigger picture. In the end, the person will lose the opportunity to enjoy its beauty by judging it. Watching nature is a gift for us humans and just like sunsets, people are also a part of nature.

Trust me, being gentle towards them will unfold the best parts.

Embrace people as they are.

It doesn’t matter what you get, neither it matters what are you going to get. What actually matters are the things, people, and situations you currently have. Let me give you a situation.

Suppose you’re chasing something that is not in your hands. Suppose you want some particular thing to happen your way. But in reality, it is not happening. You find yourself in a bad mood. Aren’t you? You want things to happen your way. But what we don’t realize is instead of complaining about what we don’t have, we intend to forget what God had already given to us.

The whole point is, to embrace them and be grateful for them.

We all have secrets hidden deep inside.

Right? We all have. Just like the sun comes every day, we wake up every day. Just like the sun watches everyone, we observe our lives’ daily events effortlessly. Just like the sun hides what he saw and settles on Eve, we also keep our secrets to ourselves and go to bed as if nothing matters. And this is the beauty of life. If one gets all the happiness in life, then what will one wish for?

These little things give a spark to chase dreams.

Essence

I seriously think we all are forgetting every day one important aspect of our life. That we are the future. Life is as beautiful as sunsets. People have serious issues going on in their lives but do not want to address them or should I say, one does not want to face their fears. Just imagine, once you get out of your confined zone, how gracious the colors of life will unfold.

“Maybe you haven’t realized your worth but for someone, you are the magician. If not for yourself, spread magic for others.”

I’ve heard somewhere, the best way to find ourselves is to lose yourself in the service of others.

My idealogy revolves around the same. Let me know yours in the comments. And if you made it till here, you are the true reader. With this, I pen down. Thank you!
